VBA Yard Sale Set For May 16

The Valley Business Alliance, that fine group of gay and lesbians emanating from the Valley, will be hosting their 3rd annual Yard Sale. It will be held at the In Touch East, 10437 Burbank Blvd. in North Hollywood on Saturday, May 16th from 9:00 a.m. til 4 in the afternoon. All proceeds will go to assist our community and its needy charities, and to build the VBA coffers for producing Pioneer Days '87.

Run For Gay Pride: Now More Than Ever!

The 1987 Run for Gay Pride, coming on June 14 to Griffith Park, has two new, easy ways to enter the Run race walking, and 3-person running teams. These two new divisions, both part of the 5K (3.1 mile) race, each have their own awards. "Teams are a fun way of making this Run a true celebration of community spirit," says co-director Susan Moore, noting that co-sponsor CSW's original intention was to stage the Run for the entire gay and lesbian community.
